First I thought you were, then speedy's reply made me think DC.

We had a US Robotics Sportster modem and you could turn the speaker off. Same with our internal one. I only ever turned the speaker on if there was a problem.

I didn't even think it was a speaker making that noise.

Nor did I...

Where on God's green Earth did you people think the noise was coming from?

got a letter from virgin media saying they could give me a better package so i gave them a ring to see if they could, they knocked a tenner of my monthly bill and upped my broadband from 60 meg to 100 meg good times

I'd actually like a Treamcast! Made in China, it was banned from sale after a short time because Sega successfully got it legally blocked for infringing its patents. But it not only plays real Dreamcast games, it's also region-free and plays back-up discs. Plus look at that screen! Who wouldn't want a a portable Treamcast?

Does anyone know where I can get a Treamcast?

I always thought that the Treamcast was a modified Dreamcast, rather than it's own hardware. I believe that to be the case anyway.
