we are going over for the Japanese Grand Prix, but tickets are only sent out two weeks prior. This is too much of a risk, so we need to get them shipped to a UPS depot in Japan and pick them up when we are there.

Currently assuming we will be staying at the Juyoh hotel near Asakusa, in the ****amachi area - which of these locations is closest to that area?

Alternatively, are any of them in a really obvious, central area so we won't have to walk for miles to get there?
Closest to juyoh would be one of the chiyoda ku offices.

Easiest to find seems like the yurakucho ekimae office, Just get a yamanote line train to yurakucho station and the Yurakucho building is directly in front of the station.

When it comes to flights, is there anything to choose between Virgin or BA? Price difference is minimal, so is there any other reasons to pick one over the other?

One of the things I'd wanted to do when I go is check out some of the hot-springs... getting a little worried though as the etiquette seems to be that you have to do it butt nekkid. Not really my style. Is it frowned upon to stick on a pair of shorts when bathing with total strangers?

You do have to go naked but once you get over the natural British reserve, it's no problem. And you are generally not allowed to wear trunks in the bath room.

Yeah, I just did this only last week when I was in Amanohashidate. I don't know if its frowned upon to wear trunks but I bet you'll get more stares if you do.

Yes you will get more stares, so go with the flow....

So you mother and father-in-law have seen the equipment that you service their fair, young daughter with? **** that's weird!

My wife's folks are living with us at the moment and it's still uncomfortable to walk around without a shirt on, let alone leaving the chicken to dangle!! (and I've known them for 12 or 13 years).

No, only the male side of the family but it was still odd at first. The thing is, these places are for bathing not for recreation so it is natural that you strip off as you are there to wash and soak. It's like taking a bath with an audience.

There must be a whole east-west thing going on there, too.

Father-in-law thinks: "Oh-my-god. I have to sit in a public bath with the pale, hairy gaijin, oh the shame! Mental note: My daughter will never see a penny of her inheritance....
Oh no! I just saw his ding-dong! Curse my daughter. I hope she impales herself on this beasts love-spear, that'll teach her!"

PS - Apologies if you neither white nor hairy.
