Seriously though, if it has been put on hold indefinitely it's really bad news for you lot. I'm sure a club of your size would have no problem in shifting the extra tickets (presumably you lot have a huge waiting list for season tickets in particular) and the increased revenue would make you lot more competitive in the transfer market.

I guess your best hope is if new owners come in?

Really bad news in what way? It's not an ideal situation to be in, no, but having a bit more money to splash out on the transfer market is not a guarantee of a success, and is not the main concern of a club like LFC. Last time I looked at the league table we're doing OK in our current situation, too...

It is bad news, stadium prices just go up and up, the earlier we do the inevitible, the better imho. It is a wrench to leave Anfield but Anfield is not special cos of the building, it is the fans that make it great. Last I checked, they were moving too!
