    Hodgson has to go!

      Very poor.

A load of ****e. 10mins late on every sub, at 2-0 down I don't know what he was waiting for

Hodgson should've been warming up players the second the goal 2 went in. He waited something like 25 minutes to make a change. During that time Liverpool's heads were down and they didn't know what to do. This let Everton ease off the attack and it killed the game.

Defensive mids. Lucas, still plop more that not. Miereles isn't a DM. No one willing to risk to push up a little more on attacking moves i.e second balls that land in space in the box would of been on the end of a classic LFC poacher in the past.

Hope, there's a mini clearout to be honest.
I expect plenty of the players are willing to push up the pitch, I don't think they are choosing to sit back. Ceding possession and territory is clearly the foundation that Roy's tactics are built upon.

Then his tactics are old fashioned, a bit negative and a recipe for relegation battle. The latter probably being a situation he thrives in. 6 points in 8 games is a plop plop.

True, the players should take responsibility too, but I can't help but feel for Torres and Gerrard having the like of Lucas behind them making mistakes nearly every other time he touches the ball.

Wishy-washy header that lead to the first goal aside (and even then, Konchesky is probably more to blame for not stopping the cross) I don't see what Lucas did wrong really. All he is there to do is sit and keep the ball. He can't have given it away more than 3 or 4 times.

                  Good lord, he's gone mental.

                    Just seen that.

It's unbelievable, you can understand managers who are reluctant to admit bad performances but... I can't see anyone at all who watched that game describe Liverpool the way he did.

Think there's going to be a lot of people calling for him to be sacked now. That interview is just embarrassing.

Apparently Jim Henry arrived at the game in a rofflecopter and went home on some lollerskates.

I really dont understand the hatred for Lucas either. Can we really blame him for conceding two goals?

He has never set the world alight, granted, but what did he do terribly wrong in that game that caused the loss?

The team never pressured Everton, there was never any support or service to Torres. That was the undoing of the team. We have a young defender who has generally impressed whenever he has played in Martin Kelly who wasn't given an opportunity today. We have a young striker who has done well this season too who hasn't been given a fair crack yet this season.

Everyone was saying maybe Woy would undo the wrongs Benitez commited against the youngsters of the club and give them a chance. It seems to me Woy is more concerned about 'experience'.

The most depressing thing is that the defenders are generally just punting it up field and Torres is expected to challenge aerially and create chances all on his own. Liverpool possess, in Agger, one of the best footballing center backs in the league and he hasn't been given a chance (yes, i know he was injured today). The team doesn't seem to have any attacking spirit at all.

I thought last season was bad, this is even worse. I almost cry when commentators say Woy needs to rebuild. 7th compared with what we are seeing now isn't about Benitez, its about Woy being inadequate.

He needs to go, its a shame but I cant see any other course of action that'll shake the team up.

I'd never want Liverpool to sack a manager mid-season, it goes against the way I think the club should be run. It should only be considered, imo, if the club is in real danger of relegation.

Bottom 6 at the turn of the year and he should go.

Lucas, for me, is pretty useless in that position. Never looks confident. Look at Jay Spearing in comparison. He moves about screaming for the ball. Always trying his best to make himself available to the back four. Trying his best to be the link between the defense to the forwards. I don't see that sort of desire from Lucas. He does try, but I don't think he's good enough. His lax passing, clumsy tackling and his lack of confidence outshines any good he may have done.

                              Meanwhile Aquilani's doing well.

He does still hang his leg out a lot, which is pretty annoying. Although I would prefer that to just standing still like Poulsen.

Harsh on the passing front though, he almost never gives a pass away.
