I thought he took the Alonso super pass really well on his chest and just managed to get a decent shot off too. He really should of hit that other chance as soon as he got it when up against Franco, but tried to be clever Wouldn't say he's doing my head in though.

Got to agree, Gerrard was never going to get to the ball even if he stayed on his feet, it was going away from goal as well.

These things balance themselves out over the length of a season I suppose.

That was pathetic. Absolutely raging at that, how could the ref possibly give a pen for that. And then book the Athletico player for booting the ball over the goal from kick off!?

It's 'Atletico' We should of had a pen early on for a hand ball.

Andy Townsend reckon the Gerrard pen was a pen, so there you all go. End of discussion lol.
