Benayoun on, Dossena off. Positive change that.

I can't see us getting a goal tbh. Absolutely ****e.

Not at the moment, you're hanging on. Just need to calm it down and keep possession for a while, even if it means kicking it around the mid field.

Torres only needs half a chance. And 1-0 is always a dangerous scoreline.

I dunno, we haven't done one decent move and look like fail on the ball.

                  2-0 now.

There's only two words that can describe that Liverpool performance and they are...

                    Plop, plop.

Avram's got a grid like Smurf's rotten arse.

That's the only positive I can take out of that game

Shocking, and awful. The manager has to go and a dare anyone to argue against. Also the rumour going round that even at the beginning of the season Gerrard and Carragher were not really getting on with the manager behind closed doors such as tactical decisions and at the players being brought in. A rotten egg indeed.

Now or at the end of the season? The former would be counter productive, no?

The common thread throughout the whole season has been a drop in confidence. Confidence falling over the 90mins and, frankly, that is the job of the captain once you are on the pitch.
Every game we have played this season that I can remember, we have got worse and worse over the game - again we were the better team for 20 mins (usually the case) then we conceded and it all went f**ked. I genuinely do not get what is going on.

Last season, once we got rid of Keane, we looked fresh and confident in every game. This season, simple passes are sent astray, basic mistakes are made all over the place and indiscipline is rife. Masch's red against MU was the first we had since his red at MU a few years ago. Now we have had 4 this season!
Rafa has always kept discipline at the very least but now it looks like it has all gone.
The capability is blatantly still there but we drop our heads and lose it all too quickly.
Simple as it is to say, that is something that Alonso gave us last season too - we had a lot of comebacks last season as we were a lot more confident in continuing to play it rather than lumping it.

I was thinking the other day whether it would be better for Gerrard to pass on the Captina's armband. Maybe Pepe should get it.

Supergoal, if that is true about the scousers in the team, I support Rafa against them in all honesty. He has converted both players to being phenomenal players (at times) and both in ways that people had not spotted.
Carra was not even a regular when Rafa joined and he gave him the confidence and awareness to be a great CB.
Gerrard constantly moaned about being "out of position" and was also VERY good at CM but, frankly, what Benitez did was right - he noticed his lack of discipline and harnessed that for the attack. His best seasons were at right midfield and in the hole.
