What a bad weekend for us what with Arsenal and Liverpool winning, too.
City sneaking a winner at the death also.
As for us at Bolton, listened to it on the radio and have to say we were realy poor all over the park today ,probably a little better second half when Andersson came on,but not enough to win the game maybe a draw was a fair result but it didnt happen and u just have to hold your hands up sometimes(hurts like hell though) and admit we wernt good enough and we got what we deserved which was a big fat nothing.
Not happy he rested Ronaldo at all cant see why he would do that i mean we played Bolton today Lisbon on Weds and we have already qualified and then our next prem game is a week on monday at home to fulham so its a strange one for me and one which has cost us cos Nani was awful today.
The Ref deserved a good telling off, however Bolton probabaly deserved the win today.
Its pretty obvious by now that they just cant score when Rooney and Ronaldo arent playing. Ronaldo was probabaly rested becuase he played for portugal and he saw this as a perfect time to let nani have a go in his place... they were playing the bottom of the league after all...
Great goal by Ronny but we still looked very ordinary last night specially first half with out Tevezn Giggs, thought Saha was awful again and i know hes a player who thrives on confidence but hes just not doing himself any favours at the mo specially with the transfer window looming large and me thinks his days may just be numbered at OT.
We can go into the Roma game safe in the knowledge that we've qualified as winners of the group while being able to rest our key players ahead of the Liverpool game on the 16th of December.
Liverpool on the other hand, won't have the luxury of resting their key players as they will be going into their last game in the group needing a result to secure qualification. Heh.
Or they may be able to rest players because they're already eliminated ... but on second thoughts then they'll stilll be fighting to get into the 'ugly kid brother cup'.
