Well Chelsea should have been the threat but as it turns out Liverpool are instead.

should've been, but we didn't expect to have a manager who can't even do the basics.

At the start of the season it was going well though, I remember after the you hammered Boro everyone was saying "Chelsea are the ones to beat". You guys picked up a few injuries to key players (Joe Cole, Essien etc) and found it hard to cope, it happens sometimes. I think the Abramovich was very hasty in sacking Scolari, I mean it's not like you guys were struggling to stay in the top four like Arsenal.

Rewind to the start of the season and Chelsea fans thought the Premier was on. No doubt about it. I dunno when they changed their tune but they still have a chance - they just need to avoid defeat and hope.

Chelsea have been hopeless all season against "big" teams but they dealt with Villa so capably earlier in the season. There are some definite weaknesses in the squad but a lot of strengths too - two cups still on too.

            Big game today.

I think villa will be happy with a draw but we have to get a win. Drogba and Anelka will be playing together, hopefully Drogba will get some form back.

Who wants to bet Chelsea get another stupid red card? We seem to get them every major game.

Best half of football I've seen from chelsea for months. We looked good. Need another goal though, Villa look dangerous on the counter attack and set plays

Ditto, we looked very fluid and a bit more convincing at the back and going forward today. Bit of a different mood in the camp it seems, even Drogba turned up today with a bit of desire.

Chelsea were great first half but seemed to revert to form for the second.

                  Very dull indeed.

I thought it was a lot closer to what we were like under mourinho. Second half was nervy but we still had chances. Can't forget that Villa are a team who specialise in coming alive late and we managed to contain them. We did what the other top teams couldn't.

Not expecting a dramatic transformation but we showed that we are still a great team of talented players. They've got a fresh start and jusging by that match, fresh confidence.

It's Man U's season for sure now. Now we've just got to make sure we finish above Liverpool who have Man U, Arsenal and Villa still to play.

Same story again. Good first half, tense second half.

Ref was poor, didn't give us anything, including a stone wall penalty from obstruction.

There was rumour recently that came from a sacked FIFA official saying how refs were told to give Chelsea FC hardly any beneficial decisions. Maybe that's why, mate. Mad innit?

You do realize that you're actually more annoying than any biased that abigsmurf may have, right?

Refs sometimes make incorrect decisions regardless of the teams involved. Doesn't mean theres a conspiracy and smurf mentioning what he thinks is a poor decision doesn't mean he thinks theres one either.

There is of course the possibility that it should have been a penalty and you're just being an ass.

Love winding yers up. As I'm sure Smurfy does. Cheer up, Charlie.

The ref was frustrating purely because he stopped us building up any steam in the second half, endlessly giving very free kicks for incredibly minor things. But meh, I'm happy overall

Decent result and Chelsea are playing passionate, if not entirely solid football that's a whole lot less tedious that the majority of games this season.
