After some time spent jumping from the final foe's

right hand into empty space I managed to reach the top of its breast plate and from there it was pretty much all over.

So about that ending

- what the hell??? Is there a way to kill those people before they get out of the chamber? I did some stomping and fired out some lightening but I pretty much sucked my first time being a Colossi. Is there a way to escape getting dragged into that silver pool? I rolled to relative safety a few times but couldn't hold on! Going from all that to being a horned baby (being mothered by my woman no less) blew my mind. WHAT THE HELL??? Am I meant to grow up in that garden back into a Colossus? Will I still fancy my woman when I'm a teenager and she is all old? Will 'Pedro' need to be put down?

Also halfway through the game on returning to the chamber you could see a dark spirit coming out of my woman and sitting up. What the hell was all that about???.

Man, considering there was pretty much no story through out this game they really lay it on you at the end >_<

That's another person who's managed to do what I couldn't do on the final colossus. for the record spag, you did it the hard way - I'm not even sure it's meant to be possible given how difficult it is. There's a much easier way that I had to consult the net to find out.

successfully making the jump from his hand, I thought you had done the same. I spent two hours trying it and only caught a hold once, which lasted about 5 seconds. What I did was shoot him in the shoulder so he brings his hand up in pain.

I did make the jump from his hand - well it was more from its thumb as it waved it passed the breast plate

. Anyways out of the lot that ****er had it coming, took great pleasure in dropping him!!!

I might be stating the obvious with regards to the final colossus but here`s a tiny little tip I found.

As anyone who has beat him knows, when you make the jump onto his right hand you stab it to get held up to shoulder hight. If you stab him in the top of his left hand, he holds his whole arm very steady making the path to his upper arm less nervy.

Maybe it`s just me but I have a problem with that part. Not that I`ve ever fallen off, but I always feel that I might and have a sweaty palm moment akin to those bastard dark levels with the wooden blocks on Super Mario Sunshine.

yeah, my path was stab the Vital on its back and jump onto his palm, ride it round and then run up its arm to the Vital on its bicep. Stab that and jump onto its right palm, stab its hand to get him to hold level while you get your grip back. Then when he starts waving again jump from the hand (near his thumb) to the breast plate. Climb onto his left shoulder and stab the Vital there then jump onto the back of his armour and onto his head. STAB STAB STAB!!!

I have found a quick, easy and fool proof route the final vital of the last colossus aka my bitch!

Climb to 1st weak point on the back, stab it and climb onto left hand. Once on top of left hand stab it and step onto the metal plate on his wrist just a couple of inches up. He will then start to raise his left arm and you`ll see his chest plate. When in reach of the chest plate jump towards it, climb up to the shoulder and stab the weak point there.

If you are quick enough, the stab to the shoulder gives him something else to think about whilst you climb on his head and get a max power stab in before he goes mental. Don`t let go once you are on, punish him when the oppertunity arises. If you find you are getting low on grip, get off his head, onto his shoulder and stab the weak point again to regain some grip. You can then either stab the shoulder point again once he drops his arm or just go straight back to the head to finish him off.

I just did him on time attack using the conventional method to reach the base and start climbing and I had 2 minutes to spare.

I have to disagree. It tells you **** all unless you want to know about Ico because they want to flog it to you like they did me.

If you heard some bloke talking about SotC on the bus as he was getting off, you`d already know all the info on the SotC website.

It is like dog **** after it has been raining......... watered down.

Oh. My. God! I have just discovered something on SOTC that I can't seem to find in any thread if you creep up to the altar where Mono lies and then jump and grab (Triangle and R1) into the flock of birds sitting on the steps something astonishing will happen if you get it right...

You will hook onto the birds feet and it will fly you around for a short while before losing altitude - I managed to fly out of the main window towards the plain before it lost altitude and plonked me back down to earth. Maybe one of you fine fellow can hook onto the hawk that follows you and Agro... 8)

Maybe this is why it's possible to stand up while riding? heheh...
