It's clicked with me, but not sure whether that's me just putting up with it. i still think ps2 version plays better.

You're right. Henry was amazing on PES 5 because he was on the front cover. But we both know he's not as good in this one.

It might never be as good as past pro evo's but it's the best footy game on 360 and the first Pro Evo. Roll on PES 7 but for now this is still decent even though it has it's little annoyances.

I will never buy FIFA, and I know PES6 is still the best footy game around - nothing comes close (not even the yet again much hyped FIFA).

The thing is though, I've had the PC version since day of release. I'm majorly annoyed at that for the online not working 90% of the time since release and I'm afraid to say, PES6 PC hasn't clicked with me yet...so unfortunately, I doubt the inferior (based on what I've said above) 360 version will either.

I mean, I'm not about to load up PES5 again, never gone back to a PES and never will, I'm not that sort of person, but I can't help feel majorly screwed my Konami this year. Saying that, if it says PES or WE on it - I'll buy it, and the fact PES6 hasn't clicked for me makes me await PES7 even more than usual.

and hoolak...as Selix indicated, Adriano is a major joke. He's like the worst player in the world at the moment - he was actually sent away from Inter for being an overated, part boy piece of crap. Henry deserved it...and I suppose ZICO did when he was the best player on WE (but then, I'm not old enought to truly comment on legends like ZICO, PELE etc).

Where has my PES gone Seabass...on a plus note, it has made me play other games this year.

I dont think Adriano is that much better then Rooney on it, he's just as fast, just as good at shooting and just as good at holding off players.

Personally having played tons of PES6 on the PS2 and then moving onto 360, i can say the 360 version isnt as good but it is still very good. I really enjoy playing it even tho i think the PS2 one is better, there is just something good about it.

Oh and EA should get some tips on player faces becuase the likenesses in this game are the best in any football game ever.

Adriano is now PES' GOD player. No argument.

It wouldn't even be that bad if he was actually good, but it's annoying that Konami have him on the box, seen him in a few games last season or the season before, radically increased certain stats, and now cheats (maybe not cheats, but opportunists) use him to socre unrealstic , stupid goals.

My major gripe is that maximum difficulty master league is too easy. I went through a season only losing the one match.

One thing i am pleased with is the removal of the invisible walls that sprung up for the keeper. Whenever the goalie dived, then caught the ball, if he was diving backwards he wouldnt go over the line despite momentum meaning he should. Now the keeper slides over the line with the ball. Unless hes heading towards the goal line in which case he releases the ball and pushes it away.

It's no secret that Shingho 'Seabass' san is a big Inter fan in real life, which explains why Adriano is a ****ing mutant on this.

Apparently, FIFA 07's online functionality ****s all over PES's from a great height.

Ive recently started using Inter and oddly its ibrahimovic who gets all the goals for me. Guess it must just be my style of play. I have seen people rape me with Adriano shooting from everywhere though on occasion

I use Inter as well and yeah i do score alot with the so called god, but he's by no means the only reason i play as them. I also score quite abit with ibrahimovic, and the main reason i like Inter is there defence. Great defenders and some great defensive midfielders as well.

Great game ruined by idiots who use the pause cheat. Got some idiot who has paused the game, messages me asking ME what ive done etc etc usuall crap. He was 1-0 up then i scored to make it 1 each.

Now hes telling me that hes leaving his xbox on for 5 days.....some people just amaze me.

I love the game but the amount of cheating going on is unreal, also why hasnt Konami patched this stupid way of cheating.

Normally, we'll go for random picks, which ends up being much more fun for us. Especially when we get two ropey sides.

I really miss the National PES League that Konami held in conjunction with Virgin Megastores. You'd get a lot of the excellent PES players show up at these events, who would spank people silly. I remember vividly a couple blokes coming down to the Bluewater event, given it all the mouth, only to be trounced in their first games 7-1 and 6-0.

None of this pathetic cheating, wimping out early on, sometimes lag-induced mess we get these days. Still, when it works on LIVE with the right people, it's very good. Just doesn't have anything on the MP with player sat side-by-side for me though. :/
