Uncharted: Drake's Fortune

Just bumping this because the patch with trophy support is now out for European and US copies (not Japan, last I heard), giving everyone the ideal excuse to play through it again.

You have to start a completely new save (start a new game and choose not to carry over stuff from a previous playthrough), but I've been thinking of playing it again so I've started it up on hard. Playing it on a nice big TV makes it like a whole new game, and I can't wait to see how the prettier areas look

I have so many other games to play but I could probably get through this in 3 hours if I skip the cut-scenes.

Yeah, I'm really being reminded how short it is. I played about half an hour in, skipping the cut-scenes, before I saved and quit, and the save file says I'm 12% complete. I haven't even hit proper combat yet!

I only played through it once at launch which was ages ago now, I'd forgotten just how good this was!

Now playing though on Hard after I completed it on Normal at launch.

Its reminded me of how amazing the graphics are in this game, I was amazed at the MGS4 visuals, but I think the Uncharted visuals have a cleaner and sharper feel to them compared to the more distressed atmospheric visuals of MGS4.

Also how can Naughty Dog pull off such an amazing and visually stunning game without any installs whereas nearly every other developer now goes for the easy install route. It can obviously be achieved to amazing results and this was their 1st gen game on the system!

I enjoyed it so much I bought it again its just a coincidence trophy support came out today, I shouldn't have sold my original copy, I even downloaded the demo and played it because I was that bored and missing it a bit

Strated this again last night for the trophies. Played for about 3o mins and have 4 of them already. Would have been nice if it had been retroactive with them though

Will put in another 30 mins tonights to progress further. Currently at the start of chapter 5

Which version did you buy? PAL non plat retail version on release had 1080i ripped out over USA and JPN last year as I bought PAL version and wish I hadnt lol

If my next play through was Crushing would that also unlock the trophies for the lower skill levels or do I have to play through each one individually to earn them?

So does anyone know how to get the resolution back to 1080p? or is it non functional anymore.
