Seemed like a pretty good game, but I thought it was gonna be a game in based fully in ye olde times so was a bit dissapointed that it was a Sci-Fi story.
The lack of Southpaw controls also pissed me off, so it got ebayed.
I'll probably pick it up again in 6 months when it's £15!

If you are a deaf gamer - don't buy it.

I got it and it is awful for deaf gamers.

1, Too much yapping and no subtitles or anyway to skip it.

      2. Too weird storyline make me confused I didn't expect a highlander type game.

I can't pick it up or understand it. So I trade it for Mass Effect with another gamer. I think it is one of worse game I have played.

On the subject of yapping, some of the voice acting was a bit pants too.

I'm stunned how Nolan North could give such an amazing performance in Uncharted as Nathan Drake and yet fall so flat as Altair.

Plus it did help that Al Muallim sounds like he's voiced by the same guy that did Father Grigori in HL2 (Jim French). I kept expecting him to whip out a shotgun and start cackling like a mad bastard.

That was the same person??? You've shocked me!

I really had no idea and like you said there is a world of difference between the performances in both games.

It could well have just come down to him being rushed in Assassin's though.

It caught me out too. Bloody frustrating walking around trying to trigger the credits. Typical that I managed to get through the whole main game with no problems and then had to use GameFAQs right at the very end to fully complete it.

While the credits were rolling I left the room and when I got back another achievement had unlocked, Visions of the Future (A strange vision has appeared to you. What could it mean?). Does this mean I missed a little clip of what might happen if there is a sequel? If so, what did I miss?

No it's just a reference to what happens just before the credits roll with

the symbols appearing with Eagle vision.

If you look around the web there are people reading all sorts in to the various different things that are written of the floor in the main room - something about the number and word grids having a hidden meaning.

I get the feeling the sequel is going to be set in ancient Japan

the Doctor has an email on his computer which suggest they've been using another test subject for info on Eden from around that period.

Agreed. It really is bad. I don't think it would've gotten as much exposure if it were not for rabid fan boys boshing one out over Jade Redmond.

wouldn't go so far as to say its terrible, what annoyed me though is that there is almost a brilliant game in there and it seems messed up and a great waste of potential.

i just found it really irritating to play.

It was one of my favourite titles from last year, it is not an immensely great game by any means but it is not awful either. I think they have laid the groundwork for sequels (I think it is a proposed trilogy) to build on and hopefully develop what could be a truly great gaming trilogy. I just wish in this they had added a little more variety to the side quests because the main assassination stuff, for me, was brilliant. Also from a technical standpoint the game with superb, couldn't really fault it.

An overreaction in response to an overreaction. Worst game of the year though....

well played this....seems ok but i have to say the sci fi aspect has kindoff ruined the the ancient times atmosphere for me

for some reason ..........there was a update for the x360 version anyone know what it does ?

Slightly off the mark - Nolan voiced Desmond and not Altair.

I agree about Al Muallim, he really did sound like Father Grigori! I think he was the best character in the game, in terms of voice work.

You're right too. They sounded so similar I thought it was the same guy for both (especially as they looked the same).
