Which screen is this on? I tried X in most places with no effect. Or is it on the fighting screen?

I found out how to get Chapter/Episode 8 activated... talk to the Gatekeeper.

At least I managed to get the Staff of Sorcery.

You bribe them in the stage before they vote. I.E., where you can see them all sitting behind the desks and you have to prees triangle to get them to "begin vote".

        That aint true man -

Geo changing works in Item World and cleared stages. You get Uber Prinny Baal after beating Baal, you fight on the same stage so Geo Changing is permitted.

Doh... Why didn't I think of checking the screen before the vote!

Another thing to do is to check out Etna's room. Trouble is I have missed 7 episodes worth.

Looks like my activities tonight are sorted then!!

I need to further level up my Prism Mage (may try to get all the spells available to the Star Mage as well... not another character to create... it is getting a bit out of hand already.

Ah nice - I didn't realise that, I'll give that a go this evening.

Bruv seriously - wait. Dont waste time getting up all these classes before you get to the final chapter and Cave of Ordeal III. You can get every character class up then with minimal effort, for now try and beef up the good weapons you have and find good residents - a lv300 statistision and armsmaster make life MUCH easier!

How do you go about getting Lv. 300 specialists Saur?
I only tend to get level 20-30ish residents - do I have to keep finding them in other stuff, moving and combining or is it possible to level up already subdued specialists?

I find that Mages do make life easier. Though admittedly I don't seem to have much success with Fire, Wind or Ice, even taking into account the Fire, Wind and Ice stats of the defender. Maybe I can just get Etna up to speed on those as all the spells are avaialble to her.

I think I said that I did one map with just the two characters. They were a Level 50 Star Mage and Level 42 Etna without a problem. Etna was doing Heal/Mega Heal and Espoir as required... when she didn't need to attack.

You have to combine the specialists and then the levels add up - it's one of the options from the item world guardian.

Saur> You probably already know this, but afaik the level cap on Armsmasters is 1900, not 300.

                        It's not man - it's 300.

EXP boosters have a 300 cap - stat boosters have a 1900 cap. (you lot think I didnt try all this ****? I aint telling any lies in my posts)

                            Calm down!

I've seen the 1900 Armsmaster brought up in a few places, which is why I mentioned it. Not least of which is here. It's in the updated Official Strat Guide, too.

That didnt work for me - anything above 300 did nothing or so I thought, I must have been working it out wrong.

Marty> There *are* caps on those listed as 'None' (Dietician, Gladiator, etc.). The limit is 19,998. They're slightly different than others, though, in that you can equip yourself with more than one of them. Whereas, say, equiping two lvl300 Statisticians doesn't work - you'll still only get the one 300% increase - having two or more lvl19,998 Gladiators does. Check the stats on this guy's Divine Majin, with 27 lvl19,998 Glads attached (SPOILERS in those pics, btw).

Saur> Were you maybe equiping them on a character who was already at a pretty high level? I guess the % increase would be more difficult to notice then...
