How many hours play to get to that Divine Majin levels?

Okay, I've got a couple of questions now. Firstly, how does the EXP you gain from the bonus gauge get distributed? Is it dished out to whoever's on the map at the time it's finished, the character responsible for dealing the killing blow or spread out amongst all your characters?

Secondly, what exactly does it mean when your Kill Bonus at the end of a level reads "Super Bonus" instead of giving an actual HL amount?

It's shared I think.

Super bonus gives you several million HL, not sure of the exact amount.

Not come across a super bonus yet.

Not had much success with the bribing. I think I need to work on it. So... no Cave of Ordeal yet.

Captured some monsters tonight. Got a tripled version (Lvl 42) of the 2 types of monster on Terrible Cold. Also a Lvl 32 Tree stump thingy from the next level. The Dragon is now on Lvl 45.

Geo changing works in Item World and cleared stages. You get Uber Prinny Baal after beating Baal, you fight on the same stage so Geo Changing is permitted.

I tried this last night and it works a treat - I've managed to get myself a lvl 6500 Surt, equiping him with a levelled Nemesis and couple of Robosuits and he can steal Uber Pinny's gear. I just need to keep trying until I get an invincible geo, as even with that level stats Uber Pinny inflicts some serious damage. This evening though, it will be mine. Oh yes.

That sounds a little beyond the stage that I am up to. The item sounds useful. What is a Lvl 6500 Surt?

I'm getting to grips with using the item world to it's full potential now. Got me a Lv. 140 odd statistitian and Lv. 100 ish armsmaster now - more work tonight!

This is a Surt, albiet a slightly higher level than my highest. Although the stats are higher on mine due to levelled equipment and specialists.

Having some serious fire-power now I may risk a visit to a more powerful weapon in item world. I'll have to read up on the Item World from GameFAQs.

I'm pi**ed off. I've now spent another couple of hours with this. I tried to like this game but I just can't get my head around it. I can't figure out how to save (if you can?) after each sub episode or are you supposed to battle through the whole chapter? The whole geo thing goes right above my head as well. I for the life of me can't see what is so good about this game, although I'm really trying hard to 'get it' and see what all the great reviews and posts are about. The last game that made me feel this way was Mischief Makers on the N64

You can save anytime that you're in the castle - just exit back there from the level selection.

Just hit the triangle (I think) button to bring up the menu in the castle. The Save option is there.

Well, "recruited" the Dragon (a Fafnir actually) from Chapter 6. Somewhat stronger than the one I created.

Finally managed to get the Assembly to accept stronger enemies after some suitable bribery though it may not have been necessary. Still haven't got anywhere with the Cave of Ordeal though.

Latest recruit is a Bandit who is currently up to Lvl 38. My Star Mage is on Lvl 55 and Laharl has reached the dizzy heights of Lvl 39!

Forget the geo panels for now. Seriously. Go through a few story chapters - where there are only one or two in effect at any one time - and you'll find yourself starting to understand them without trying. If you're having trouble with Item World then, again, leave it alone for now.

And don't even bother with the Dark Assembly for a while. There's simply no need to go anywhere near it if you've only played for a couple of hours. Well, you might want to create a Cleric or something, to save yourself having to fork out for healing items, but that's simple stuff. Otherwise, just go through the story mode until you start to feel it coming together. There's way too much going on to try and take it all in at once.

The Dark Assembly is bad enough for me, though I have successfully done some bribes and got Stronger Enemies through. Not a hope with Cave of Ordeal though. Playing time now in excess of 85 hours.
