As good as online Clubs is I just don't get the same satisfaction with offline 1v1 on FIFA that I do with PES, I wish I could explain why. For some reason I just don't seem to be able to care to same extremes. With PES I'm delighted when I win and angry when I lose, in FIFA it doesn't really bother me either way

Been playing it with at least 3 or 4 good friends of mine. Getting tactical, communicating via headsets on the field, having a go at each other for mistakes etc. It's that factor alone that makes it. Well, it helps that the game is decent and the online actually works.

I love PES, but I get my kicks out of human on human. Most of the time I have to get online to do this unless I have a few friends around. Sadly, Konami haven't had a decent online game since PES6 on 360

I'd like to have faith in them getting it spot on this year, but I have doubts.

Demo is up! Playstation Plusers can get it by setting your automatic update time to now and then turning the PS3 off and on again. Doesn't seem to be officially on the store yet but automatic updates will pick it up np. 1682mb

The ball movement doesn't match the passing animation. the passing animation looks very soft but the ball sometimes moves at really silly speeds.

Agreed, its a bit weird. I still don't like the stiffness of the running animations either.

Much better looking video. Still some horrible animation and the ball seems a bit heavy at times but it does look like it plays a good game from this vid.

The ball veers from looking heavy to super light. Still there were some reasonable bits of goalkeeping in that last vid. And some terrible parrying. I wouldnt mind the parrying if the keepers parried intelligently e.g. out wide, instead they seem to like parrying it straight back into the most dangerous zones. Roll on next week for the demo though.

Both football games seem to suffer from terrible parrying. It seems keepers can't hold the most simple of shots!
