Dead Rising 2 : OTR and Defense Grid. The latter is actually a fun tower defense game on xbla. Played it originally offline, then popped on line and a host of extras appeared. Cheap DLC as well.

Also playing FFIV The After Years, which isn't quite as interesting as I wish it were.
Playing SF X Tekken, Blazblue Extend, Guilty Gear Accent Core and a mix of Mercs and Campaign on No Hope difficulty of Resident Evil 6 (I know, I know, I'm a sadist in many respects...)

I got Tales of Symphonia 'Unisonant Pack' and have playing this a little. From the onset, it seems they've gone quite cheap on this port. The textures are quite blurry, so it feels like they've just upped the resolution. Even the opening video is blurred, so they haven't bothered to upscale it properly, i.e., redraw the animations etc. The worst I think is the lousy FPS during fights. I don't even think it's 30 FPS as it's quite choppy. I guess it would be quite expensive for all the textures and redrawing but not optimizing the FPS is really lazy.
As a nice surprise I got some extra 'content' (useless costumes) for having saves from other Tales of games. Both opening 'videos' are featured on this release, where the only change was the theme song. As the openings loop, initially the GC music plays, the next time around the PS2 one. I didn't try the second game, and I don't think I intend to any time soon. Otherwise great fun. I haven't played this one in about 10 years.Last edited by danholo; 16-10-2013, 21:53.

I put aside FFIV After Years. May go back to it at some point but it really wasn't pulling me in. So aside from my usual Animal Crossing rounds, I have been playing Zelda Oracle of Seasons and I'm really loving it. It's a charming little game with plenty to find and good for little limited play sessions, which is kind of what I've got right now.

I've been on TW 101, mostly.
I brought my laptop to my in-laws' to do some work on but I've been playing Minecraft with my nieces instead. I'm doing this thing where we just keep travelling north and set up camp every night. We'll set up shop proper after I've found some place pretty enough. I've got this mini map add-on that lets me add waypoints for previous camps and areas of interest.
