-Towers of Agasba: I'm starting to sense the situation here
-Final Fantasy XVI: I still don't like the look of this one
-Alan Wake II: First truly full interesting title on show
-Assassin's Creed: Mirage: Like a remaster of an AC that never was, very hard to care about AC at this point
-Revenant Hill: Another indie game with a cutscene instead of anything of value to the trailer
-Granblue Fantasy Relink: Nope

I'm halfway through.
Really hoping the second half delivers on the positive vibes as so far it's an embarrassment. It's like it got to the night before and Sony forgot to put something together so borrowed the PC showcase. Halfway through the PS5's expected lifetime in the coming year... shocking.

-Street Fighter VI: Looks good as we know, largely a courtesy showing given the release date
-Ultros: Ultrosvania
-Tower of Fantasy: Nope
-Dragon's Dogma II: So, the original did nothing for me but I can't really deny this one the nod. Fans have waited a long time for it and it looks like Capcom is putting in the effort
-Five Nights at Freddy's: Help Wanted 2: Another nothing burger trailer
-Resident Evil 4 VR Patch: What it says on the tin

Ill go back to pissing on yours and Nonnys parade in the xbox thread every single time it pops up, do we want that again? Because it was funny and true, but I said I’d stop, so cut it out here.

-Arizona Sunshine II: Another CG trailer
-Crossfire: Sierra Squad: Looks solid, not for me either though
-Synapse: As long as its varied this could be okay
-Beat Saber: A known quantity
-Marathon: Given Bungie's gunplay I might have been on board but having read what it is in Fry's post *insert Duncan Bannatyne gif*
-Concord: WTF CG trailer

It's not backing MS up as there's been no dodging their void of releases but neither is it nonsense or unfounded. I've got 15 minutes left of the show to go and Sony is genuinely largely absent from their own presentation. It's genuinely astounding how okay so many people are to have spent over £500 on a system (or £1000 if they got PSVR2) that years in is delivering so poorly. If they deliver loads in the last section of the presentation I'll post happily to say they nailed it in the closing but this isn't a great line up and what little there is that's solid is by other companies releasing on other platforms. I'd be more forgiving at the start of the generation but if anything MS being dragged over the coals whilst Sony cashes in cheques and good will on such a lowball effort this far in is the real issue.

Hey there were some great titles in there but I said in the other state of play thread I didn't think it was a great showcase given what we've seen in the past from them... it wasn't bad, just ok?
I think it's because we've already seen plenty of FF16 and we all knew Spiderman 2 was going to show up given its release date later this year. I thought both those games looked great but I've zero interest in FF personally and I felt Spiderman 2, though looking technically excellent was more of the same... I said ahead of the showcase I'm more interested in seeing stuff that I've got no prior expectations for.
To that end The Plucky Squire was my favourite game shown tonight. It just looks brilliant. Also thought Sword of the Sea looked really cool.
Alan Wake II is going to be fantastic as well... but out of the 3rd party stuff shown 12 of those titles are multiplatform, including Marathon.
All up it was alright but didn't wow me all that much and I thought the hardware unveil was the worst part. Earbuds and a local streaming device? Not for me when I've got devices that do all that stuff already.
