Nintendo Switch: Thread 10

Sorry if this has been mentioned already, but I'm listening to Brazil's latest podcast "XdC News #55" and he shared some cool info. He once again mentions both a Switch 1 direct and Pokémon presents for next month but, interestingly, he mentions that we're getting more than just remasters...
Leakers are suggesting that in February Nintendo will hold a Direct focused on Nintendo Switch 1 upcoming titles. The leakers are saying that there will be one final major first party title reveal that is not a remake/remaster for the system.
Under the assumption that Metroid Prime 4 remains a Switch bound title, that would mean 2025's swansong year will rely on that title and this unannounced game which has already revived the earlier speculation about Star Fox returning.

A quick port with suitable up-rez, those ghastly motion controls removed and minimal dev costs would be absolutely easy low-hanging fruit for Nintendo in the dying days of the original Switch.

Sony: "PS2 has now sold 345 trillion units!"
By the time NS2 launches Nintendo should roughly be at the point of just needing another 7m units sold to take the crownLast edited by Neon Ignition; 04-02-2025, 09:48.
