i'ts clumsy, but loads of fun! Just trying his bose noise reduction head phones while he's playing halo 3 - they cancel out the xbox 360's fans quite well!

Does this work? It's not displaying anything for my order, but the tracking on Apple's website seems to be working...

More importantly than all of this space nonsense, does anyone know if you could get away with buying an iPod TOUCH via company expenses?

Just had a "tax tips" flyer through the post. First tip on the list was to buy an iPod on company expenses!! Apparently its quite acceptable to class it as a portable storage device, so says tha tax man

So then, I have got a touch, loaded music fine, want to ut some videos on there but I cannot manage it! Does anyone know if you have to use te iTunes video player and nothing else?

Blair - how did you get the music onto the ipod?

Apparently with the latest ipods, Apple have changed the file format so that only iTunes works. I didn't know this until the other day, but this means that all other utilities don't work. I'm a really big fan of Anapod Explorer but it doesn't look like I'm going to be able to use that when my touch arrives

Debug - yeah I was a bit annoyed - what I did was to basically to put all my music on an external hard drive - relocate it to my new MacBook and open each file 'as it comes' in order to save it in iTunes again.

As for videos - I have been using iSquint to get them on there, there may be an appropriate converter (or perhaps even iSquint) that would run the music into iTunes format.

No - got mine from Apple store in Sheffield. Tried to get some accesories from somewhere else, Micro Anvika and John Lewis but no joy. No one seems to be selling anything else.

Regards that blog - interesting reading. There are a lot of skilled people out there it seems and not all of them work for apple

Aye, second that. I also tried Micro Anvika before ordering online. I'd imagine Apple will make sure their stores are furnished before dishing them out to the likes of MA and JL etc...

I'm hoping that we'll soon see all our fave utils updated again for the newest ipods
