Rare, i've spoken to Kujara and he's changed his mind again about Nyzul Isle, he IS up for it. So if you're still interested, we're not short on any members.

Totally feeling the love for RDM, it's massively refreshing (see what i did there) from the other Mage jobs i've played. Invite rate for parties is crazy, with 2-3 coming in as soon as i pop my flag up. I'm finding i enjoy being the only mage in setups too, as it keeps me busy doing everything. AF quests were anal but other then that, i just can't get enough.

Can any of the ENMs/BCs be soloed RDM at 40 or 50? Would love to try one if so.

I'm echoing the rdm love - party invites flew by for me during lvls 60-70 which I managed in the space of a week. I'm definately maining this once it hits 75.

Sadly, from about lvl 70, the lack of invites and bad parties when you actually do get one seems to be rearing it's ugly head again

Rdm ist to bad for gearing either AF+1 is pretty awsome for head and body. Enfeeb +7 neck and ele staffs your most expensive items.

I'd probably be more keen on the relic as opposed to the AF+1
Will have to make do with Spider Torque as opposed to Enfeeble Torque for now
Only got the 1 HQ stave, so need the rest of those and lastly, I have the abjuration for Zenith Slacks, so provided I can gather the 600k I need for the slacks I have a sweet pair of pants to be using for the forseeable future.

I might forgo Joyeuse for the time being (or at least until the next maintenance window), once my justice sword has Virtue Stones powering it (whenever that will finally happen *cough *cough*) I'll have a superior weapon in that.

go solo any kind of NQ organ, chip from ep/dc mobs on your thf you lazy bum, your blm can take every out there.

As it happens, my inventory is already close to bulging with NQ organs, however I still need SPECIFIC ones in order to complete the first quest. The SPECIFIC ones I just so happen to need are dropped by Aw'euvhi inside the garden, which even if I could solo on blm, the drop rate of the organ I need is so utterly abysmal I'd be there until the end of time without a thf.

After talkin about this in LS last night i remembered there are some easier flowers in the other zone inside of sea, that are easier to kill but not as good of a drop rate (lol) but might be worth hitting these up on thf see how you fair up.

It's worth a shot I suppose, although after speaking with fission recently, it seems he needs flower organs too, so the intention is to help each other out, hopefully this weekend at some point.

Also, on a slightly related note, she has been a long time coming, but

Funny story regarding this actually, I turn up at the stupid npc last night eager to cash in my chips so to speak, and despite the full 75 coins in my possession I'm told I don't have enough to purchase it. In typical "me" fashion, I once again accuse SE of murder and shout the odds off in LS chat.
Turns out that I had to trade the coins to the npc first, and then choose the item from the list (yeah, go figure - nothing like making something more complicated than it needs to be - why she couldn't have just found the coins in my inventory I don't know, chocobo npcs seems to have access to my wallet, so it makes no sense). Aaaaanyway, my endgame earring setup for RDM is almost complete - Loq and Magnetic for parties and group work, with Loq and Suppa for soloing and Moldavite for macroing as appropriate - a Novio earring now would be nice

Edit: The Eo'euvhi has a 1.4% drop rate, but they are alot more common - I must have seen at least 5 there on wednesday evening. Wish I'd known at the time they dropped them, I might have just "accidentally" aggroed a few lol

Nah dude, the current way is much better. Means you don't have to keep ancient beastcoins taking space in your inventory.

Although the mental image of you ready to burst into a rage once again is heartening.

Haha, yeah fission will be able to solo the (harder) ones on rdm. With your TH you should make a good team. Ive not been on much but ill come down again when i can. Took me a week to farm these and do nothing else so i feel your pain.

If anyone needs a high level Alchemist, be sure to look me up . Sitting very calm at 98 right now, wish someone could have warned me that towards the end was so slow. 98-99 is going to take me until next Tuesday, when hopefully i can aquire some Orc Livers in Dyna. Have massive stacks of ingredients for 99-100 on mule, so i reckon i could nail that last level in one swoop. Also have 88,000+ Guild Points, should have Apron (if i'm really lucky) by tomorrow. If anyone comes across any of the stuff on my wanted list, i'd be willing to buy it for full price too.

Had a BLM body drop in Glacier Saturday too, after that i lost connection all night, so when WHM body dropped, i wasn't there to lot .

Little update Rare, i'm now only one level away from hitting tier 1 on Cursed -1 Finger Gauntlets. Have another crafting session later too, so fingers crossed.

Quick update from me, not been on much on account of being on holiday and the like.

Still trying to get Nyzul Isle completed, logged level 85 at last just 2 more floor climbs to go. The thing has been hating Phsych Flayers with white magic locked, multiple floors of lamps, mega boss levels and so on. One run we had 5 lamps sequence, Vile Eneef, Kill all, Chariots x 5 then blsck pudding x 5 with no white magic. Almost won as well wiped on last pudding...

You got lucky with that being on as high a floor as it was Tsing.
My static seems to run into that **** almost weekly on early floors

Update from me - 75 RDM!!!!!!!!!exclamation

Now to merit (anyone want to halp me out with flower farming btw lol - I'd attempt to solo them on rdm, but I need at least TH1 as the drop rate is ****pants even with TH3 - I'm not sure I can be bothered to go after Joyeuse just yet, even if I got a ToD, getting enough people to help kill it would probably be like getting blood from a stone.)
