I've had one of those for a few weeks now. I'll be releasing a video next week.
It's an awesome bit of kit. I been using my Astro City pad to play Chaos Break on the PSX.

That is great news. I've seen a few lag tests and this holds up pretty close to even original controllers.

As an update to this it appears as if the first batches (prior to October) have a bug and Brook are offering replacements to existing customers. I've not really experienced any weirdness with my own unit but I went ahead and requested an RMA, new unit is on its way to me.

Yep, the free rom comes out on Christmas day too. Nice.
I do like the look of the ultimate collectors edition but man, the price is quite hight.

The scary thing from that page is the reminder that the PC-Engine's 35th anniversary is coming up. **** me I'm old. One of the greatest periods in gaming though, I'll never be more in to video games again than I was in the late 80's/early 90's.

Look forward to chucking the Rom on my devices.

Colin did you know this existed?

Yes! There’s only two PCE variants I’ve never owned, this and the Sharp X1 Twin, both of which I foolishly passed on in my collecting days. I passed on both for minor reasons, the monitor was missing a flap, and the Twin didn’t have the system correct pad.

Holy **** that's great news - it's a bit of a bummer neither format is the most convenient for playing patched stuff, but I'd definitely encourage everyone to play them! I got a lot out of the PS3 version even without understanding any of the plot.

Very interesting. I've always been intrigued by this game. I wonder how it will run on RPCS3 for Mac. I'm def going to give it a try at some point when the spirit moves me.

You gotta love how many fan translations we get these days. It's really superb.

Only played the first two stages so far, so can't say much about PCE Dinoforce yet. First stage was a bit dull but the second was more interesting. Will need to give it more time to give it a chance.
