That trailer mainly just uses footage from the first trailer, and it has stuff from the second trailer at the end. Still looks fantastic, I'm still not sure why they are fighting a giant electric eel though. Actually I don't remember that spoilerific shot of Thor attacking captain America being in the other trailers either. Could be wrong though.

I don't think all the best stuff from this will be in the trailer, mainly becuase I have a feeling all the best bits will be dialogue heavy moments of interaction between the team, and hardly any of that has been seen so far.

The parts of the trailer in the city, which I presume will be the main showdown, reminds me of this CGI clip I saw years ago:

If you enjoy Scarlett Johansson and you appreciate bouncing boobs, you'll like this clip

Nice bounce. Not really buying that chair flip. Does it matter? Well yeah. If nobody has to obey physics, there's nothing really super about the super characters. That gets into Wolverine Origins territory where it just all feels unimpressive because they've thrown out any hint of gravity. Really not sure that's the right direction here.

              Still, nice clip.

Do they have gravity in comic book films?

The chair flip thing has been used in a few films recently, Jason Stathem did it in Killer EliteAnd that was a far more realistic film than this is trying to be... Course he probably has more upper body strength than her, but then she has giant heaving boobs to help propel her so who knows......

Early buzz looks promising, reviews currently embargoed but some guys have suggested the first 2 acts have problems but the final act annihilates those issues overall. Looking forward to "everyone fighting everyone" but most of all Mark Ruffulo and Hulk seem to stand out from most peoples thoughts which bodes well for me.

The BBC's Tom Brook reports on, what for millions of comic fans, is one of the most eagerly awaited events of the year, the release of the film The Avengers.

                    Can. Not. Wait. xD

Reported budget of $220m??? I'll believe it when I see it. If there isn't world class, top quality CGI Hulk Smashing/choreography in this film then I'll never watch another Marvel Studios film again. Its probably gone into paying off RDJ and co.

How big is “The Avengers” going to be? THR says that new pre-release tracking figures over the weekend indicate the film is presently tracking better than both “The Dark Knight” and “The Hunger Games” were at this point ahead of their respective releases – and both of those films opened in the $150-160 million range. Film comes in at 2hrs 22mins with 30 mins of cut scenes to be on the home release

Hmm... this could turn into the Pearl Harbor of comic book films.

The reviews have all been insanley positive.

Even after all the hype Im still pleasently suprised by how great the film appears to have turned out.

9/10 is actually the lowest score I have seen for it so far .
