Just realised there's a fairly large continuity error in the film

Bruce and Tony greet each other on the SHIELD carrier as if it's their first meeting, yet their first meeting was infact the post credits sequence of The Incredible Hulk

Not really a big deal and it's not exactly X-Men level of continuity **** up, but I'm quite surprised it wasn't addressed, despite the same writer working on both films...

It's okay, in Incredible Hulk Stark meets the general, not Bruce

Yeah that's not an error, Tony Stark never met Bruce Banner in The Incredible Hulk.

Saw this last night and it was amazing! The action choregraphy between all the characters and their abilities is amazing. Great stuff, day 1 purchase on bluray for me.

Thought it was pretty good. It built up quite slowly but ended up pretty awesome. The Hulk was indeed a scene stealer but all the characters were good. Found it hard to take Robin Scherbatsky seriously. She is very pretty though. Wouldn't mind seeing it again.

Did you guys watch the extras on the Thor dvd/blu? There was a similar exchange with Agent Coulson where he is talking about the Stark/General meeting and how he set it up or something. It was a bit muddled but I think they were talking about the Abomination rather than Hulk too.

Watched it tonight, really really well done. Also the first 3D film I've seen that is easy to watch. They use quite a wide depth of field in almost every shot , so you can explore the screen a big more without it fuvking your mind.
Although again it gave some shots a made for tv effect.

I'm glad to see film makers are getting the knack of the 3D now. I'm interested to see how 48fps will work with 3D, I always notice the jerkyness and lack of clarity in fast moving scenes loads more in 3D

Saw this last night on one of the Impact screens at my local Empire (Floor to ceiling screen & improved sound) & I was a huge puddle of geek by the end of it.

Simply amazing I loved every second of it, just about one of my bestest films ever & I'm so close to booking in to watch it again this week.

The interaction between them all is brilliant, the action jaw dropping & the comedy was well placed & pretty good at times.

                      Everyone should see this film.

Dark Knight Rises needs to do something special to better this IMO
This is the ultimate super hero movie.

                      Bring on number 2!!!

The characters interacting with one another is probably the best thing this film has to offer. I thought Dark Knight was easily better. The story was derivative, very mild and simply not good enough. It was hard to care for any of the character's struggle, the bad guy seemed too weak, there were no twists or surprises, and the 1st 30 minutes were quite dull.

I'm surprised no one has already mentioned any of these issues.

Overall good film but not worthy of all the praise it has received.

There were some very good surprise, several which had the entire auditorium in hysterics.

You are right though, the story is derivative...derivative of the 60 or so years marvel has been around

I'm more surprised you went into a film based upon Marvel material and expected something different. Its Marvel, they do what they do and do it well.
