Never, Never, Land - Unkle: given it a couple of listens and it rocks. Think I'll listen to it again.

My missus is a big Nicks fan, and it would appear that I share nearly all of Baseleys tastes of 80s and cheesy stuff (and Prince).
Today I am listening to Degredation Trip by Jerry Cantrell and Push The Button by Money Mark, bit later on will get the new Deftones off my mate who picked it up for my birthday.

believe it or not im listening to Diddys latest offering, dunno what has happend to him but he's go all electro pop on us. Infact, it could be anyone on this album, he's hardly in it. Only one song that aint collaborated.
Not sure what to think really, so obvious stand out commercial track and other fillers. Id have to say, im a lil dissapointed cos its nothing new or special.

BT - This Binary Universe.
It's designed to be listened to in DTS, so comes with CD and DVD versions. Listening to the stereo version is somewhat missing the point. The DVD version has animations for each track too.
Not at all what I was expecting. Far too experimental. But best ever way to show off your DTS surround system.
But having just become a father myself, I actually found myself crying while watching the last track, which is a song without words about his daughter.
The guy's a genius, but this didn't really do it for me overall.Last edited by charlesr; 31-10-2006, 15:26.

today (and for about 2 weeks now) it's been all about yellowcard - light and soundsit occurred to me just a short while ago that one of their songs 'how i go' is actually based on the film 'big fish' and the story it told. girlfriend had to point it out to me
