clannad 23 was a nice lil episode, nice little change of pace from all the dramatics of late. tomoya and mei scenes were brilliant again, and you cant beat a good bit of sunohara humiliation. i already vaguely know what goes on in afterstory but it will be nice to see it animated, and to finally bring some closure to all this

also watched the finale of shigofumi earlier, nice series overall, i preferred the earlier eps with their more Kino / Jigoku Shoujo type feel to them, but i would i seem to have a taste for those sort of shows. but overall great lil show, some nice action scenes, some nice characters and decent plot

also it seems that its getting to that time again when i need another HDD. my current main anime 500gig drive only has a measly 25gig left on it. May take the plunge and invest in one of those 1+ TB drives (if anyone knows any deals knocking around, do let me know), should last me longer than the 12/18months this one has. If i keep going at this rate i may aswell just buy a server lol. Its abit silly when i think about it, but i just cant bring my self to delete anything, even the **** series ive got stored on there.

I have the same problem. I was going to keep a fair ammount of my stuff on my external hard drive but since it nearly died and lost all my stuff I've resorted to keeping it on their until I can get round to burning the series off when they're completed. 185 dvd's filled so far ;>_> I'd rather lose the 4gig of a dvd than the 500 of an entire drive.

Clannad ep 23 - Loved it from start to finish. I was grinning like a madman through most of that with the occasional LOL moment. Highlights for me

. Lovely way to end things off. I think it's just cemented my feelings from the last episode.

edit: the more I'm readng about Toshokan Sensou the more excited I'm getting. I've read someone describe it as FMP-esque, which if true could be brillaint and could maybe satiate my appetite for more animated FMP goodness. Not much longer till we find out anyway.

ooo really cant wait for more holic, and the mentioned arc is one of the more important and better arcs, wonder what vol of the manga their gonna be covering up to, the first series was like vol 6/7ish wasnt it?

oh and i dont know if you know yet or not Jeff, but if not im sure youl be happy to know that Negima is getting a 3rd series in ova(of at least 3 eps) form, animation by Shaft again, apparently going to stick really closely to the manga this time, both in story and art direction

Promo of 'holic for anyone interested.

I'd heard about the Negima Ova's yeah. Bit puzzled as to how the hell they fit in with the series so far though but judging by the place they've picked to start/stop it, it may be an indicator of them considering another proper series.

Also, Hayate no Gotoku season 2 was announced.

Edit 2: Just started reading Deadman Wonderland written by the writer of Eureka SeveN. Wow. Hands down the 3rd most ****ed up series I've read only topped by Tokyo Akazukin and Mirai Nikki.

been planning to start this for a while, but the fact ive had a pretty solid supply of hard copy manga to be reading, means ive not got round to it yet, and the fact ive got a pretty big backlog of scantilations due to the same reason but anyways . .

oh and jeff you really should stop wussing out and read Akazukin in its entirety, despite the content, its one of my fav's, prolly due to the ****ed up content :P, and its only 4 vols/27 chapters, suppose i best just put a lil warning in here, it really is ****ed up so i wouldn't recommend jumping into it blind, especially if your not a fan of gore and its like

anyways i went on abit of a raid of nipponsei again today, finally got round to getting the gurren lagan OST, as well as the Shigofumi, ZSZS OST, Shana S2 2nd OP&ED, adn the new ZSZS ED

which reminds me came across this rendition of Bure Bure earlier, the animations ****, but the tracks not half bad (apart from the appalling intro bure bure), shame theres no info on the actual track:

how many eps was the original xxxHolic? all i have subbed of it is ep1-12 and the movie.

Clannad ep23 - every that's been said i agree with, it was really good for it to go back to what was basically the fun of the 1st half of the show for the final 30 mins.

True Tears ep13 - last ep, nothing happens for 15 mins then BANG!

Anyway decent show which gets a thumbs up.

Just need the last R+V, Minami, Shana, Bamboo Blade eps, and mendoi to finish up Gundam00 for a clean'ish slate for the new season.

Totally forgot about xxxHolic, thought it was alot better and more enjoyable than Tsukasa. Which i stopped watching, it had that Naruto go on forever vibe and nothing happening, i already have enough of those series already, One Piece, Bleach etc.

It's 24 in total and they've all been subbed by Mishicorp. I think I had half from Shinsen and the rest from Mishicorp. I should probably get back to it too. I last left it at that episode with the girl who cheats on people?? I can't relally remember. I think I made a post in here about it aaaages ago.

The episodes are on usenet, but they were put up ages ago, so you might be out of luck unless you have a provider like Giganews. Failing that I might be able to send it to you, providing I can find it. I need to get that clannad stuff ready for you as well... I've been a bit lazy on the burning front.

I still don't think there has been Clamp TV series as good as X TV though. I absolutly loved that, one of my alltime favs.

i enjoyed xxxholic for what i had of it, gonna have look on my newsgroup server as still paying about ?4 a month for 30g limit of NG access to everything even though nowerdays with torrents i barely use it outside of DS game hunting

also found this my 4chan lurking... http://mirrormoon.org/projects/windom, freeware doujin game for 1v1 mecha fighting like vitural on. Very well done for a fan game(only 50 odd meg), some of the mecha are clear gundam ripoffs(GundamWing, Chars Golden Hik) and rest.. well im not sure, one kinder looks like that masive tank thing from Macross and another is a Magic girl which im certain from the crazy weapon5 gotta be Nanoha. lots of Crazy weapons, online mode and crazy, crazy team battle... lazers and missiles just everywhere as 15 odd mechs go at it.
