edit: looks like BSS are finishing off Aria the origination so at least there should be some decent subs for the final couple of episodes

Was just about to come and post the same thing.

Aria 11: Nice little episode this. First bit with Aika and Akira was good to see some more of the relationship between them too and the second bit with Alice was equally good. I love the way the animation switches from the standard to the silly like it did with the banana scene.

2 more episodes before it's finished forever. I just know the last episode will make me bawww. >_>

Also, most of you probably know but it seems Lucky Star is getting an OVA. I hope it's not being made just to milk the series more.

Same here, I just suspected that the Organisation was some kind of secret group that controls the country using fear of the Yoma and their Claymore as the only way to kill them but I didnt expect THAT, I was way off

loved the Aika bit with Akira being all down and out for her, trying to think of way to let her know what she's thinking and then comes away with same attitude as Aika much like there first meeting in the past, lovely touch and great art to.. i was totally expecting Aika to break down when Akira grabbed her which would have had me Bwwwww'ing but they totally played me . The Alice bit afterwards was well done, let us in on her enjoyable but lonely work, super ace when she opened the door to them all munching on Banana's even if it was telegraphed.

There's still a DVD only episode to come for Aria too. On the 3rd volume I believe.

For my part I've been trying to savour every bit of it and as a result I'm still about halfway through Aria the Natural. I imagine I'll finish it once most of my exams are over but like you guys I don't want it to end so I might still try to prolong it. As stupid as that sounds... I did the same sort of thing with Mushishi too. I guess the episodic nature helped in that regard

it started with a bombshell and ended on one. It was shame we only got bits and pieces of Aika promotion but it was enough and that starting bit where she was crying about leaving Akari behind had me welling up , after that they hit us with Akari test and passing(that bit with the narrow waterway was reallllly tense, they really made it look she was super close to the walls) which was fantastic with them both stupidly happy and me to

Alicia married off and joining the council... out of nowhere story wise... well the marriage thing certainly was but i had feeling on the council job, Aria Company always had that Starwars Sith thing going with 1 Master, 1 Appentice.

The bit where Akari turned around to find Alicia wasn't there was damn sad and the hug with them both crying had me watery eyed , Alicia admitting she held Akari back as she was scared to leave Akari behind and all those happy times, showed more of imperfect Alicia we rarely see, and the short timeskip into the future part1 was fantastic with AikaxAl and Akatsuki continuing his crush on Akari, and part2 with a grown up Akari looking super hot in that Alicia pose she should her on her sooo much in the past, im gonna make that my next avatar once enough people have seen it , Ai was pretty good too.

Great, Great show, Season3 was certainly different to S1 and S2, with the magic and wonder of Aria well explored, it was left with 13ep's of them growing up to fulfill there destiny's... still would have like one ep or at least in the final ep a return in the background at least of the Cat king.

Tobal! How were the subs? Are they worth it? I don't want to use them for the last 2 episodes EVER(bar the dvd ep) if they turn out to masssively useless at capturing the moment.

Good apart from being xvids and the translation notes popping up in stupid places, but BSS release there ep12/13 this morning so get them , i am!

As expected I was bawwing through both of them but mainly at the two points you mentioned; with Akari suddenly breaking down and also at where Alicia says goodbye to her gondola. I'd had the bit with Ai showing up spoiled for me but still made me grin to see her with Akari as an apprentice.

So very very glad I started this now. Thank you for recommending it to me Tobal and Zapp!

Pretty close to the manga it was. But there was one scene which although fanservicey was pretty funny I thought and they didn't include it in the anime. No biggie in the grand scheme of things so I could see why they'd want to cut it. It's almost reached the point in the manga that I stopped at so I'll be looking forward to going into with a fresh approach devoid of any knowledge of what's to come. Got to say I'm very pleased with how it is turning out. Bones finally back on form? It would certainly seem so at the moment IMO.

as I've just watched the latest episode and Ichigo et all have all returned to the real world, but two episodes ago they were still in the hollow world and had only just met up with ohrime (sp?), the last episode introduced the new captain and the latest one ichigo was back at school?

its anime filler, and it happens before the Orhime rescue arc, so they can put some space between it and the manga(of which the manga is also doing filler flashback arc...), as i posted earlier about it being stupid but at least the show is widescreen now lol.

mid air hax power upgrade and have Kallen owning was pure win, could not get the grin off my face for ages. Wonder what they have instore for us now Nun is going Euphies route of peace, while Zero and Suzaku are tearing holes in each other.

Macross Frontier ep. 6: Well, looks like next ep's gonna kick some serious ass. Meanwhile, the love triangle becomes a square, and the soundtrack goes for that Pirates of the Carribean feel, which can't be a bad thing.

I have to admit I'd been slightly disappointed by ep. 5's insert song, which, catchy though it was, didn't sound at all like something being played on the spur of the moment, with whatever musicians and instruments were around. A clean, synth-less rock/blues-ish arrangement (or at the very least one without vocal overdubs) would have been so much better and more in-context... Oh, well. I'll live
