I've just realised that the head barman at my local looks exactly like Ryo Hazuki. I was in there drowning my sorrows for about the 100th time in 28 days when I looked him right in the face. I knew he looked like someone, now I know who it is.

Woo, got me a date. I've know her a while, but she has always turned me down in the past. I bumped into her in the local hyper-mart-store thing, and she asked if she could take me out for a drink after asking if I was still with "that girl". I feel a bit funny about it tbh, as since I had the bust up with my girl I haven't even looked at another one. I was actually planning on not going out and drinking tonight too, and I'll miss the football. Oh well, at least I'm smiling now.Kept you waiting, huh?Comment

Well, I arrived at her place (which happens to be the flat above my local). She was cool, but had been asked to go to work on emergency notice, and she couldn't really get out of it. We had a good chat and a drink before she had to leave, and have arranged to go out next week instead now, as she is also working all weekend. I'm feeling much better in myself because of it.
I then went to watch the football. My ex called up going mad at me again over something really trivial, which I'm guessing was just an excuse to call me during the game, and then sent me texts all night. I'm thinking it was quite lucky that the new one had to go to work after all. I'm looking forward to next week now, especially since my friend said that he likes the look of the new one. Last night as part of redecorating my stepsons room, I painted a mural style piccy of Spongebob with acrylic paint. Looks ace as well. WIll try and post a picture of it later so you can see how kewl I am at art and that.Comment

I wrote a complaint email yesterday morning to the local council and cc'd my councillors about the state of the roads in Brighton, particularly one area I ride (motorbike) through every day. There have been 4 potholes getting bigger by the day there for 2 weeks and have had the white 'we know about these' paint around them for over a week but have had nothing done. They were getting very big and pretty dangerous (especially for motorbikes).
What do you know, they fixed them yesterday afternoon/evening! Coincidence? I think not!
A small victory, maybe I should re-write the email for every pot hole and ****ty bit of road I find! Shame they need reminding about things they should be doing anyway though.Comment

ebay, one auction upto over ?400 for a pair, loads around ?300 mark.
