    Woot. I took out

the Belfry Gargoyles on my first attempt at the stat level I had saved yesterday with

, then I've just spent the last hour or so farming souls and I now have my Dexterity at 20, so I can use my

    Iaito Sword

    .

Where should I head for now that I've rung the first bell? I really wanna

take out that stupid Hellkite Dragon, but the one-arrow glitch isn't working for me.

    Maybe I'll come back later?
    Kept you waiting, huh?

hey joe, you know the area where you fight the first mecha boar ? there is a spiral staircase in one of the turrets leading up to a back knight, kill him and snipe the hellkite dragon from up there, one shot and it dies 100%.

        You mean that

you don't see it from the tower where the black knight was or firing one arrow doesn't kill it? If you don't see the Drake from there you have to go to Darkroot Garden and then turn back; the Drake should appear and will be ready for the one-arrow glitch.

After ringing the first bell you can

complete the Depths and Blighttown by killing the boss before the second bell or you can just wander around the world. You can go to Darkroot Garden, kill the two bosses there and then go to New Londo Ruins. You can kill the boss in the Catacombs (bring a divine weapon with you) and then resume exploring the world with the ability to max out all bonfires (20 Estus Flask uses).

          I cannot see the

Drake when I go to the tower where the Black Knight is. I'm not yet able to take out the Black Knight so I've been luring him down the ladder so I can run up the tower, but the Drake is not to be seen. I went back to Firelink Shrine as apparently that resets him, but it doesn't seem to work

          . I'll try going to

          Darkroot Garden

and see if that changes it.

          I've beaten the

          Gaping Dragon

          , so I'm guessing that

The Depths are completed? I can only go to Blighttown from there, although I don't think I'm levelled enough for there as yet

          . I guess I'll hit

Darkroot in that case, I gather I'll run into Havel from the other side this way too

          .

There seems to be a bug in the game. I originaly spotted the drake from that tower but then when I came back latter he didnt appear to be there (despite the fact that it actualy is there).

I killed it in the end by firing arrows at it from under the bridge, it took ages and it doesnt exactly give you loads of souls, but it is a way to get rid of it if you cant get it to be visible from the tower again.

Anyway I finally completed this today after 84 hours at level 76. The Final Boss took me around 5 hours alone which was quite agonizing but also quite pleasing considering the last one in Demons Souls was just a guy covered in moss who rolled around on the floor and didnt even bother to attack you.

I love this game so much I think Im gonna dive stright back ionto NG+ even though I have all the other big new games to play that have been released over the last insanley ridiculous month.

My thought for the day, the Uchigatana Lightning +5 is not as quick as the Balder Side Sword Lightning +5 and, despite a small damage reduction the Balder is my favourite lightning weapon of choice.

Some great invasions as a blade of dark moon last night. It seems you get more luck in later areas of the game.

Invaded one guy and I spawned on top of the

                hidden bonfire in Izalith

. I dropped down and noticed the guy was ahead fighting the fire breathing statues and he had not

hit the hidden wall that unveils the bonfire

He had legged it past the massive jumping dragons and his Izalith short cut was not unlock. If I killed him it would be a long trek back and I felt sorry for him. When I found him I took off all my armour and unarmed my sword/shield. He stood still no doubt thinking WTF? I messaged him to say follow me, no tricks hidden bonfire. I walked past him slowly and he always kept me in his sights. HE prob thought I was rocking a hidden pyro hand or something. Anyway I lead him to the hidden bonfire and as he couldn't sit down due to me being there I messaged him to say chop me.

That was my good deed. Other invasions I kicked someone off a high ledge who was firing arrows at the big dragons in Izalith. I knew he was in his bow mode so I wandered up with the fog ring and kicked his ass down into the fire and the 2 massive dragons he was chipping away at, took me 25 minutes to get to him slowly, I think he forgot he had been invaded! ! I felt so evil! Good invasion rate at Izalith and Tomb of the Giants. I have about 15 souvenir of reprisals, wonder what my prize will be!

Funny you should say that, as Darkmoon covenant PVP is proving a bit of a drag for me right now. I've not had a single result with the blue eye orb, and wearing the ring most of the time I get summoned to find the target on one side of me, and a white or gold spirit on the other side. Typically you can also expect fog rings, tranquil walk of peace, and the Furysword (no doubt with 99 duped humanity). I've entertained myself by managing in a few cases to run and hide behind the blacksmith, forcing the host to back off at least, and sometimes buying enough time for another blue spirit to show up, but it's still a nightmare to handle a lot of these situations. In this sense, I can't wait for the damn patch to come. Very tempted to grind out my last 3 souveniers of reprisals from PVE.

On NG+ earlier and had more Drake weirdness happen. I shot It in the back from the tower and it vanished but I got no souls for it.

Then about 20 minutes latter I was in the Undead parish and I suddenly heard a dragons roar and it granted me 50,000 souls! Then a bit latter I was moving under th bridge to get back to the Undead burg Bonfire and I heard the Dragon roar again!, I looked up but it wasnt there.

Is this bug somthing they are fixing with the new patch?

What area are you trying to invade in? I had good success with Izalith (around 8 invasions in 2 hours) and Tomb of giants (4 in 1 hour). I was trying to do other stuff whilst invading, not just waiting around haha. I guess you would get a good success rate in the forest as people tend to grind there a lot. I thought the area just before the 4 kings would be good but no joy after 30 mins. I never wear the dark moon ring and I hear people expect you. I guess that explains your experiences.

I also think we get more success when the yanks are on. Trouble is on line on this game depends on people getting so far into the game. What with all these other releases tempting people away I see why people might struggle to invade. Maybe we should have got the PS3 version? more dedicated Demon/Dark soul players to invade/fight! What time did you finish playing last night? I saw you on as I was leaving 1:40am.

I've tried a few, but for some reason I don't think I've been taking location into account too much - I will try some sneakier spots tonight. I would probably scream if I got invaded in

                        The Tomb of Giants

, haha! What SL are you at, out of question?

I didn't think I was up too late last night but I might have lost track of time After a few beatings from
I decided it was time for some Darkroot farming, have gained about 10 levels so far but want to get a few stats up even more. My int is now at about 50, and I'm considering making the switch to sorcery...

Pro-tip for anyone starting out NG+ who had problems with

4 Kings first time round - before you get to the Moonlight Butterfly, make sure to summon Beatrice before the fight, as then you can summon her for 4 Kings too

                        .

i wonder how many people actually finish this game? last night i got very close to calling it quits as i struggled again and again to get past the 2 archer knights in Anor Londo. this was by far the most unfair part in the game so far. consulted youtube and the game guide but couldn't do it nonetheless as the knight on the path to the bonfire just refused to fall down. i eventually did it with luck after countless tries.

did anyone manage to kill the knights using arrows? i found using a bow just too troublesome and dangerous. but some youtube guys mention poison arrows would work wonders here, but mine didn't even do scratch on them.

Just a tip for next time.

You want to take the right one out first. Sprint up the buttress then across the roof until you are wedged in the corner next to the knight. Neither will be able to hit you with arrows then just whale on him. The other knight is easier when you have the support of the wall behind you.

On a tracking site that has nine thousand DS players listed. 2% (213) have 1000GS, 989 have one ending and 582 have the other.

I am soul level 80, first play through. Upgraded 8 levels from invading alone and helping people with the Bed of Chaos. Great area to level up IMO due to higher invasion rate and high demand for co-op on boss.

You do feel evil when invading in the tomb of giants. Although you show up due to the light you emit. Shame really as you could really have some fun with people if you didn't emit light and had the fog ring. I did see one person before he saw me and I hid whilst hitting the wall, causing the massive echo! I made my way toward him hidden behind things but kept hitting the wall. He was rooted to the spot and kept turning around. I ran and jumped in front of him and he must have s**t himself! shame I rolled of the edge upon landing!

Personally I can't see invading at Undead Burg, the depths etc being successful. High traffic/farming places and orange mist areas. Will try demon Ruins tonight and see what success rate I have.

do the occasional flashes on my character have something to do with invasion of other characters? i thought it's not possible to be invaded while being in hollowed form?

levelling up by helping other people out in boss fights seems like a great idea but i have yet to figure out how this works. does it take long to get into a coop game?
