It’s def coming on physical the official site lists both digital & physical but yes not on amazon japan yet I also did a search and came up empty but I’ll be checking weekly till it appears. It feels like Goemon mixed with the art style of Sega's hero bank.

Although it is, literally, a new Super Mario Bros. game, with distinct similarities and continuations from the NSMB series.

NSMB being crap is entirely subjective. You may not be a fan of the art style and audio, but the stage design and platforming is right up there with Nintendo’s best. This is well documented.

Also, NSMB's stage design and platforming right up there with Nintendo's best? Sorry, that's also subjective. There's no reality where anybody is seriously putting any NSMB game near SMW or SMB3. There just isn't.

Your deflection won't work here and you know it won't. Nobody has ever called any NSMB game an all-time great and nobody has ever put it in the class of SMW or SMB3 - two of the very best games of all-time. Saying that they have is laughable. Where are YOUR "documented sources" for that claim??

Plenty of people have criticised how sterile the NSMB series has become. Digital Foundry literally tore apart how NSMB was using the exact same assets since the Wii game. NSMB2 pretty much got mediocre-poor reviews for the same reason. That's a fact - go search for yourself.

You're the only one here calling NSMB one of the best ever.

Even on official site they only have 4 stores listed for preorders. Yodobashi dot com, bic camera, seven net shopping & joshin web shopping. I'm sure amazon will come along later on as well.

The right call, IMO.

What more could possibly be added to TOTK? Could there really be genuine justification for a "Mid-game content disguised as DLC" scenario for it like there was with BOTW without looking like a total last-gasp moneygrab?

I suppose a Master Mode would be cool, but that could easily be a free update.

Besides...no TOTK DLC means that the pathway is now theoretically open for Wind Waker HD and Twilight Princess HD to finally get ported to Switch next year!
