It will have to be BC on the cartridges at least.

It’ll go down so badly if Nintendo don’t provide this.

If full B/C exists on Switch then, given Switch's reuse of the WiiU catalogue, it might be time for the GC library to shine. People might get that Thousand Year Door rerelease they keep calling for

Given how long we've gone without a proper new 3D mario game I'm going to assume the hardware will arrive once the game is ready as a launch title.

Everyone knows it exists at this point but Nintendo know they need to dangle a carrot for everyone to upgrade.

They’ll also want to extract as many sales as possible out of the new SMB Wonder first before saying anything.

It wasn't like Odyssey was ready for the Switch on Day One so I don't see why a new 3D Mario would have any bearing on the new hardware.

More realistically, Nintendo do not want a situation where old hardware that is still selling well for the most part immediately stops doing so because people know that the new hardware is coming. I'd think that that they would at least want to try and control that side of things before announcing anything.

I really don’t see a Switch2 for another 2 years realistically, it’s still selling like hot cakes on a cold day.

March 2025 sounds about right, gives time for the longer out titles to release also.

Then rumours of Switch 2 Pro by September 2025

The sooner they get the Switch 2 out, the sooner we get Metroid Prime 4.

                    On the Switch 3.

Few nice poster sets up on mynintendo i got the Metroid/Zelda/Mario Gameboy one one a bit back and they have just put up a Mario kart/rpg zelda GBA set up

their a decent size and print quality, 70 x 50cm posters are printed on 200g/m² glossy coated art paper and they come rolled in a pretty sturdy box, for the price of postage (£1.99) and 500 platinum points

Their a pretty decent quality reward not on par with the old club Nintendo stuff but pretty good for a nice bit of games room merch.

for those lacking points half an hour on Fire emblem hero's On IOS is a pretty good way of getting platinum points as you get 100 points per story chapter, and they don't take long to play.

Very good news. No reason for this not to be the case.

My launch switch battery life was absolutely garbage i'd get less than an hour of play out of it, They really didn't think about the battery replacement as its horrilbe to replace, it requires a partial Tear-down of the system voiding any warranty you have and the use of Isopropyl alcohol to dissolve the glue holding the battery in as well as multiple pry-tools to get the old battery out. It's bizarre as the DS, 3DS and Wiiu all had easily accessible battery's but the switch is a real **** show.

From the same article I'm not super happy with the adoption of usb c as the main standard as it has a built in design flaws, the center post in the middle has a habit of breaking. I watch a lot of repair vids including a guy who runs a really busy tech repair business and hes always going on about having to swap out usb c due to the center post in them breaking and talking about the need for a universal standard with a connector design like lighting with the speed of usbc
