If you mean the guy near the begging of the game, Shoot down the generator thats near the stairs and then shoot it again as hes near it to keep electricuting him with it, and remember to keep punching him in the face whenever you can too. Hes not actualy that hard to kill once you know how.

Rifle to the head, generator and punch combo seems to work well.

        I really this game.

In the public assembly area were the chainsaw dude is at, one of the guys came charging at me from a distance however, he didn't see the raised wood plank in front of him (from the floor to the raised concrete porch), he tripped over in style.

It's the small things like those moments that make me smile.

I had my first go at playing the game on my own this afternoon and... let's just say that I understand why a fair share of people are having a moan about the single player experience.

The Co-Op offering is just so much better.

Oh, I just read this post a page or so back:

She will use erbs when you or her is in the critical zone. And i find that she's ok with healing, even if she is a bit heal-happy most of the times. I often dump all the healing duties for her, since i hate going into the menu screen and faffing about that way, since i almost certainly die by that time.

Also, she will combine red & green herbs correctly, as long as she doesnt have a green in her inventory to begin with.

RE5 has taken its fair share of stick and some of it is rightly deserved but comments like this are just not valid.

You can easily put the lamp down so if your just standing there with it in your hands getting attacked then thats your fault and not sheva's ai.

i'm finding the A.I ok tbh, i've finished the game several times now and on veteran with the computer and had no prob's also done level 1 on pro with it.

if you don't want them to waste ammo don't give them any ha ha, all i've ever given the computer is a handgun, can use that ammo all it wants.

also the more you play you will upgrade weapons, once you have unlimited ammo on a gun give that to them and have one yourself, much easier.

I noticed the option for infinite ammo in the menu which I turned on, but it doesn't activate in the game? Do you have to upgrade something aswell as well?

Also will it effect my veteran difficulty achievement run through?

once you've finished the game you can unlock infinate ammo on weapons that you have fuly upgraded. Then buy them from your bonus section with points earned.

certain weapons fully upgraded open up the gattling gun and the longbow. Also beat the game in under 5 hours and you get a free infinate ammo rocket launcher!!!! makes the game a bit easier on vet and pro ha ha.

No cheevs will be affected which is a bonus

Yes and No. Sure, it's possible to put the lamp down or indeed have Sheva carry the lamp the whole time but, either way, the incompetance of the AI usually leads to the player being unfairly punished for something out of their hands - be it because Sheva doesn't point the lamp where it needs pointing or because she fails to protect the lamp-bearer.

I urge anyone believing the AI is pretty decent to play the game on Professional as it brings the system's inadequacies into sharp focus.

God ****ing damn that On rails boss!

                      (El gigante 2/Ndesu)

He's such a pain in the ass on Professional! The QTE's are stupidly short that require superhuman timing and often seem to not register/assume i pressed the wrong button due to still holding X for the machien gun! Sheva's terrible AI doesn't help either, never aiming at the right thing.

Edit: Oh for FFS. some of the QTE's flash up and go in less than a second!!!

I has that too - far too easy but fun heh

Question time chaps - I just can't seem to get the Partnership achievement - you know the one where you build up a certain level of trust with your partner and I don't really know what I'm doing wrong!

I've pretty much only played on Live with my mate, and he hasn't got the achievement either so clearly we are both missing something! Despite giving each other ammo, healing and all the usual. I know when we first started we didn't always say thanks (didn't realise lol) but still - Any ideas?
