I've fully upgraded the (starting) handgun, the shotgun you found in the public assembly chapter on the wall in a house and the machine gun you get at the start of chapter two.

And I'm only starting chapter three!

    Overpowered weapons for the win.

I actually really like this game now after a poor-ish start especially in Co-Op where it really shines as I'm playing with my Brother and two friends who have popped round mine over the last few days. It's all really good fun.

Oh, and in regards to finding the treasure in the game,

can you combine or repair any of the valuables you pick up or should I just sell them all as soon as I can?

    Thank you.

Just sell them. They're only good for money.

So the fish magically change into money, but you have to manually exchange treasure for cash?

HOW exactly have you fully upgraded 3 weapons when youve only reached chapter 3?

Ive completed the game and havent fully upgraded any weapon.

Rmoxon, he has probably replayed the same mission over and over again

              Not a bad idea actually!

Still haven't finished it yet, but i'm at the end. I'm finding it a very boring experience i'm afraid, every situation and action setpieces are dull and average. Whereas in RE4 every experience including the castle are fun exhilerating setpieces. Capcom really missed the mark with this one.

Will be trading it in once i've finished it.

That is exactly what I did.

It may not be the 'proper' way to play it but when I am having fun, who cares?

I am genuinely enjoying the game now and I'm pleased that Capcom went down the Co-Op route despite a lot of fans and new players alike not really appreciating it, mainly because it isn't the game most of them would like it to be in the first place.

                      I love it though!

Oh, thank you Paulos for the answer to my brief query - doesn't that make the treasure aspect of the game rather pointless? I have a antique clock that states 'it would be worth a lot if it works again' yet it is fairly misleading really.

                      Oh well.

                        No worries. There is

an achievement (and I presume trophy) is you can collect all the different types.

just a simple question in single player how on earth do i get shiva to change weapons ?

                          Comment

She won't. Only when she runs out of ammo. The ai is completly thick. Just give her one weapon or two to fall back, don't give her the pistol as she will always default to that.

Her inventory management is a nightmare, say for example she has an odd number of bullets aswell as a full box of the same type you want from her. If you ask her for the full rounds she will give you them in odd numbers, never fully filling it out. You can't even ask her to use a herb or even combine red & green. Most of the time she will create a 2 green herb vial instead.

the ai is really frustrating ....wasteing ammo...and dont get me started on that mine section....i made the mistake of me carrying the lamp and she had to protect me

Set her to attack mode and she'll use anything in her inventory. The recommended weapon layout for Sheva (A.I) is a smg and sniper. She does pretty well with both.
